About

Gheri Thomas conceptualized the idea for ID’vour in 2017 after having her first child and realizing the difficulties in online shopping to find clothes that fit her frequently fluctuating body. Likewise, as a independent contractor, she grew tired of being commissioned to make customized looks for clients and wanted to create a way to completely eliminate the middle man and make room for the costumer to have more autonomy over their own style and fit. With the pandemic of 2020, the issue with fit, especially with vanity sizing, became much more prevalent with online shopping. Thus, ID’vour was born to solve multiple problems:

1. Aide in dispelling body dysmorphia by helping women recognize and love their natural shape

2.Disrupt standard industry sizing methods

3.Cut out the “middle man” for emerging fashion designers with few resources

4.Improve sustainable practices by driving down returns for ill-fitting clothes

5.Provide a platform for users to showcase their personal palette of taste/style
